Dr. Elif Kiesow works with governments and the industry on responsible development and deployment of emerging technologies. Elif specializes in advising on transatlantic and global governance strategies and policies for dual-use risk. She is also an affiliated researcher for the Stanford AI Index and at the NSF Engineering Research Center for Quantum Networks. Elif has formerly worked in policy advisory, project management, and academic roles on tech governance. Previously, she was a fellow at Harvard Business School and she completed her doctoral research on law and economics at the University of Hamburg, Germany.
