Hans Seeuws leads the Business Operations department at EURid, the registry operator of .eu. Starting out in national TV and radio before moving into political strategy for federal ministers, he now has over 20 years of experience in the top-level domain industry. He began as Communications Manager for .be, and later became co-founder and CEO of OpenRegistry, the first backend operator for new TLDs such as .deloitte, .boston and .lidl. Hans has a keen interest in geopolitics and artificial intelligence. He holds a Bachelor’s degree with honours in Communication Management from Thomas More Mechelen, and an Executive Master in Business Administration from ESCP Paris.
