As Senior Advisor, Institutional Relations at the Internet Society, Tatiana Tropina advocates for an open, secure, and trustworthy Internet, focusing on leading international and regional organizations.
She firmly believes the Internet is a force for empowerment, innovation, development, and enjoyment of human rights. Working in cybersecurity policy for more than 15 years, she developed a strong interest in the Internet’s technical layer and became a passionate advocate for global interoperability, connectivity, and the multistakeholder governance model of the Internet.
Prior to joining the Internet Society, Tatiana was involved in research, policymaking, and capacity-building projects, combining positions at academic institutions with various consultancy projects for international organizations, civil society, and think tanks. She also volunteered in the technical community, participating in DNS-related policy development processes.
