Dr. Robert Pepper is retired now and was until recently the Vice President, Global Technology Policy at Cisco and leads Cisco’s Global Technology Policy team working with governments and business leaders across the world in areas such as broadband, IP enabled services, wireless and spectrum policy, big data, security, privacy, Internet governance and ICT development. He joined Cisco in 2005 from the U.S. FCC where he served as Chief of the Office of Plans and Policy and Chief of Policy Development for over 15 years. He is now a fellow at the Aspen Institute and working with NGOs.
