Please explain why you are interested to participate at the Euro-SSIG:
Internet touches every aspect of society and has made its way on the national and international political agenda. How we handle Internet issues such as privacy, security, network neutrality, cybercrime, free speech, intellectual property rights to name a few, will shape how societies develop in the future. People with no technical background, including myself, can no longer afford to stay in the background. I want to use this course as an opportunity to enrich my knowledge of the current state of Internet governance. This way I hope to be a more informed participant in discussions and actively contribute to the development of the Internet in my new role at RIPE NCC.
