Please explain why you are interested to participate at the Euro-SSIG:
For me it is a great growth opportunity to participate in the 10th European Summer School on Internet Governance. It is beyond dispute that nowadays the Internet plays prominent role in the global economy, generating rapid technologies development and improving knowledge management. As the Internet’s influence expands, the humanity faces new challenges related to Internet regulation, digital rights, protection of personal data etc. I am very interested in participation in the European Summer School on Internet Governance first because of my work. Currently, I am engaged in organizing the first Central Asian Internet Governance Forum to be held in summer. Besides, I coordinate Digital Rights School, designed to promote and develop in the society the awareness of and the attention to transparency in internet regulation and protection digital rights in Central Asia and South Caucasus, and we are on the stage of preliminary works. Due to my current activities I was highly recommended to participate in the School by core partner of our organization – ICANN Vice-President, Michael Yakushev. Within the program, I expect to gain knowledge of tendencies and challenges, brought by the rapid internet’s expansion of the world, as well as to get familiar more with the technical issues. I believe I can maintain strong linkages and networks for future cooperation.
