University of Graz, Faculty of Law
Academic background: I am currently finishing my Law Master’s at University of Graz, Faculty of Law. Throughout my studies I went on Erasmus exchange at the Tilburg Law School focused on International Law and participation at the Tilburg Model United Nations. I attended Summer Schools in Cyberlaw, IPR and Cyber Security in London, Helsinki and The Hague. I was part of the UN-Shadowing Program at the IAEA, the 23rd Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court and accomplished the Diploma course of the Global Advancement Programme organized by the UNYSA-Austria. In March 2017 I will be part of the NextGen@ICANN program.
Please explain why you are interested to participate at the Euro-SSIG: My favorite practice areas are Cyberlaw, Cyber Security, Cyberproperty, Intellectual Property and Internet Governance where I still have knowledge from the Summer Schools, internships and studies at University of Graz. Due to my technical education background (College of Electronics Specializing in Technical Computer Science) I adopted knowledge in IT, software development and Internet engineering. My working experience ranges from Kazakhstan to Poland, Germany and Austria in diverse fields (law, technology and marketing). My major is to combine this specific technical knowledge with legal aspects in this field. I am highly interested in Internet Governance, the future of the Internet and other related topics covered at the EuroSSIG – Summer School on Internet Governance in Meissen. Especially, I want to network and extend my knowledge in these practice areas and share further information with other likeminded people.
Without doubt, I will progress my knowledge with the EuroSSIG – Summer School on Internet Governance which is organized by the eminent University of Aarhus, Medienstadt Leipzig as (ALS) under ICANN Bylaws. It would be a great pleasure for me to get one of these distinctive places.
