Fellow Report:

  1. The EuroSSIG has been an invaluable opportunity to learn about internet governance from some of the most senior and well respected and knowledgeable members of the IG community.
  2. The structure and location of the summer school allowed for a deeply focused learning environment that covered a wide array of content in a condensed period, including global governance bodies, the domain name and internet protocol systems, and emerging issues such as AI, quantum, immersive and neural technologies.
  3. The event also afforded invaluable networking opportunities both with senior mentors and emerging leaders in the IG community.
  4. The interdisciplinary nature of the summer school also helped make the content accessible to non-experts and people without technical knowledge.
  5. The accommodation and site were also fantastic. The use of a quiet and regional area helped remove distractions that would otherwise be present in a metropolitan location and also helped encourage fellows to communicate and network.
