My background helps me connect internet governance and technology that I’ve always been interested and involved in with international relations and development representing the broader field of governance. I graduated from Saint-Petersburg State University with a Bachelor’s degree in international relations where I focused on East Asia including how modern technologies reinforce internet censorship. I did two exchange semesters where I gained knowledge on the European institutional framework. Finally, I finished MSc in Development Management from the London School of Economics where I focused on the capacity of public institutions to bring development, innovation and close technology gap.
