My academic experience has been an interdisciplinary mix of media studies, political science, and sociology. A common strand through my research is combining the use of quantitative analysis of open-source data and qualitative interviews with informants. I am well-versed with both qualitative and quantitative methods (including qualitative data analysis software and SPSS).
I am currently completing my MPhil in Sociology of Media and Culture at the University of Cambridge, where I am writing my dissertation on Singapore’s approach to data governance and its impact on civic engagement. My place at Cambridge is funded by the highly selective Chevening Scholarship and Cambridge Trust.
