In my undergraduate studies, I studied Business Administration and Economics with a focus on finance and accounting at Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. Towards the end of my studies, I took a strong interest in EU politics and therefore decided to apply for a non-consecutive masters programme in Contemporary European Studies at the University of Bath, called “Euromasters”. During the two-year programme students have to study at two different universities that belong to the Euromasters consortium. Since I chose the transatlantic track, my studies took place in Bath and at the University of North Carolina.
